UNIFi adds Halifax to unsecured loan portal

UNIFi Partners, the secured loan network and distribution company, has today announced the addition of Halifax to its unsecured loan portal.

Brokers will now be able to access Halifax’s range of prime unsecured loans for their clients through its online portal.UNIFi launched the portal last year and, with the addition of Halifax, currently has five lenders on panel. The other members include: Citi Financial, Black Horse Finance, Everyday Loans and Welcome Finance.

The portal gives brokers access to the current unsecured loans available on the market. It requires the broker to key in their client’s details and information just once on the system and then all five lenders and their product ranges are accessible.

The portal then returns the details of where the client has been accepted and the rate they have been offered. The lenders available through the portal now cover all client types through from prime to sub-prime.

Patrick Bamford, managing director of UNIFi, commented: "The addition of Halifax is a real coup for UNIFi and widens our unsecured loan coverage; we are sure that conversion rates for applications will also increase dramatically with Halifax on board.

"The beauty of our system is that the broker need only key in the information once and they then have access to all five of our panel lenders. Without this system, brokers would need to apply to each lender individually," he said.
